A Crossover for the ages at hammergirl anime
Ever wondered what happens when you blend two of the most grandiose forms of storytelling together? Find out at Hammergirl Anime as our GMs blend the strategic and collaborative elements of TTRPGs with the vibrantly chaotic energy of anime. Craft delicious meals from defeated dungeon monsters, channel your inner Robin as you unravel a deadly mystery, or pursue the highest-value bounty of your career!
These epic 3-hour crossover one-shots will be hosted from 2pm-5pm at Hammergirl Anime, one of Rochester’s largest and most popular anime stores. Its expansive shelves are filled with books/comics, figurines, cards, and other merch featuring some of the most popular and niche anime and manga.
Players who make a purchase at the venue will receive an interactive card that will effect their one-shot character and aid in their adventure.
We also encourage you to bring your coin purse and stop by D20 Grow Co. LLC’s kiosk for fantastical D&D/TTRPG-related merchandise.
*Please be aware of our refunds and return policy regarding these items.

Rolling the Moon: The future is bleak as machines replace human workers in almost every field and the planets of even far flung solar systems have been mined for their natural resources, leaving them almost devoid of the basics for survival. The planetary colonizers are often driven to desperate measures just to survive this bleak techno-fantasy.
The various crime syndicates have increased their hold on the mining colonies and abandoned planetary colonies as the inter solar system government and its police force (issp) are spread too thinly to adequately maintain law and order. Nowadays, they mostly rely on bounty hunters or Cowboys to remove the worst criminals from operation.
The owner of the Golden Moon casino operating around the gas giant, Saturn has sent a message asking your crew to test out their security. The owner recently received warning that their casino was next in a string of devastating heists in the solar system by the Red Dragon Syndicate. Meat is scarce in the solar system and your tummies are starting to grumble…the payday for this will feel like jackpot!

Frequently Asked Questions
Can beginners with no D&D/TTRPG experience play?
Absolutely! We strive to make our sessions as inclusive as possible regarding player level.
In every session, at least one of our Game Masters has created a one-shot dedicated to beginners. This means that the character sheets and one-shot premise are designed to be comprehensible but not overwhelming, and players have ample time to ask their Game Master questions along the way.
Our Game Masters are passionate about bringing people into the world of tabletop gaming and are more than willing to guide you through the process so you might join more advanced games in the future.
How long are the events?
Our events last six hours unless specified otherwise. This includes one-shot playing time and several designated breaks. Participants are free to hang out and explore the venue before and after the event.
How many seats are available per table?
A maximum of six seats are available per table. This helps ensure the one-shot is balanced regarding how much time each player is given to participate.
How do I sign in at the event?
When you arrive at the event venue, find the D20 Grow Co. LLC merchandise kiosk. There, a D20 Grow Co. LLC member will ask for your name and direct you to your Game Master's table.
Can I bring my own custom character sheet from home?
Players may bring their own custom character sheet but it must receive the Game Master’s approval before use in the event. Character sheets can be submitted for approval at the event before the one-shot has started or they can be submitted in advance using our private Discord chat. The link will be provided via email upon purchase of a D20 Grow Co. LLC event ticket.
Character sheets can be rejected for a variety of reasons including, but not limited to:
- Character level/ overpowered abilities
- Overly advantageous inventory items
- Use of a race, class, background, or motivation that is incompatible with the one-shot premise or edition
- Presence of inappropriate content
These custom character sheet rules ensure the one-shots are conducted as fairly and respectfully as possible while being conscious of time.
As stated in our “Campaign and Venue Rules”, the Game Master has the final say in all disputes. If your custom character sheet is rejected, please do not waste the one-shot's limited time arguing with the Game Master's decision. Be courteous of everyone's experience and choose a pre-made character sheet.
Do I need to bring my own dice and figurines?
No. While we encourage participants to bring their own tabletop dice, figurines, dice trays or towers, and other accessories, they are not required. We will provide all the basic items necessary for the one-shot.
Will there be food at the event?
Most of our events are hosted at venues that offer food and drinks to some degree that participants can purchase before, after, or during the one-shot session. However, this is not always guaranteed. If food and drinks are available during the event, we will specify as such in our event posting.
Will there be D20 Grow Co. LLC merchandise to purchase at the event?
Yes! We always have a kiosk with a collection of our best D20 Grow Co. LLC merchandise available for purchase at our events. Some fan-favorite items include our customized sticker packs, the Bath Bomb of Elven Ease, and the D20 Grow Co. LLC dice tray. Remember that you can also purchase Hidden Loot and unique D20 Grow Co.
