A Peculiar Recipe: As a well respected member of the The Solspel Swordsmen Guild, you have been tasked with lending your blade to many renowned figures. It seems the time has come again for you to earn a promotion, as a memo from the Court’s Mage of the Tri-Kings’ Federation magically appears sealed at your feet. It reads:
“Greeting and good tidings, I hope this finds you well. Scila Harket, daughter of Eastmarch’s Mayor Malton Harket, has disappeared after leading an expedition into the Forgotten Swamps. Typically, this would be addressed with a search party of the city’s guards, but I have reason to believe there is foul play at work. Scila is the most recent in a long line of missing persons in this specific region of the marshland, and curiously I have been unable to locate her through means of Divination, nor any of the other victims. If my suspicions are correct, Scila has been kidnaped by a cult that aims to use her for a ritual of some sort. I will provide more details when we meet face-to-face.”
The listed payout is considerable, not to mention the benefits of promotion. To accept the challenge, all you have to do is sign on the line.
