Nightmare in The Mire: From cradle to grave, all hear tales of the dreaded Até Mire. Those foolish enough to wander the foreboding moors find their nightmares manifest, their fears given life! But the strangest thing… No one yet has discovered what dark lords or daunting deals have twisted it to be so. Hundreds of expeditions have tried, but any who return, return… different.
Your party has been hired by a merchant company who claims to have discovered how to repel the evil of The Mire, but they need a group of adventurers skilled enough to carve the path. If they’re right, this could be a bright new age of safe travel between the east and west coast of the continent. But if they’re wrong… The Mire will not kill you. What it does, to your body and to your mind, is much, much worse. Will you be the first to see its power and escape with your sanity?
Content Warning: Horror level will depend on participant age and interest. Regardless, expect psychological and body horror, dealings with sanity mechanics, and the possibility of alterations to the character you’re playing.
