Baba Dochia is a folk horror adventure set within the corrupt and paranoid Romanian society in the aftermath of the 1989 revolution. Welcome to the Village of Rareș; deep within the mountains of Romania, a small village is plagued by corruption, destruction, spirits, and witches.
You each play as investigators visiting with your own secret agendas. However, your visit coincides with the annual Dragobete celebration (equivalent to Valentine’s Day), which honors Drogomir, the son of Baba Dochia, a symbol of rebirth and the coming of spring. Who knows what horrors will come to light when you dare to interfere with the festivities of Dragobete? Baba Dochia contains themes of motherhood, young love, and grief.
